School counseling is a profession that asks you to keep learning. Mental health frameworks evolve, post-secondary pathways shift, and the students in front of us bring new strengths and challenges every year.
DPS partners with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the North Carolina School Counselor Association (NCSCA), and local universities to offer monthly trainings, mentoring for new counselors, and travel support for state and national conferences.
